Ah, so Danny is the type of person who would type “First!” in the comments section? Of course, I have never felt the urge to do that. Nope, not ever. That would be wrong.

I told you, I don’t like Joyce.
First Fight
Round One, page 5
I’m g-getting some heat r-readings
To be fair, Tony was JUST resurrected and JUST informed how long he was dead. I’m sure he hasn’t had time to process that he has been gone three years.
Also, when he was fighting Sal however many strips ago, she started to say that she loved him. If he remembers that at all that’d be evidence that, yes, they are still a thing.
Which makes it much more pitiable. *However*, Sal is clearly distraught and is just getting a hug so I don’t actually give Tony much of my sympathy.
If he remembers her saying that, it was still three years ago. Though it is true he likely hasn’t processed all the implications of that, plus it is kinda an emergency.
Though, even if he hasn’t connected the dots between ‘three years’ and ‘Sal may have moved on’, again, it’s just a hug and she’s clearly very upset.
Yeah, no, I don’t have much sympathy for Tony at all here. Even if he thinks they’re still together, his first reaction upon seeing the woman be believes to be his girlfriend distraught and being comforted is “Hey! That’s my [girlfriend, presumably]”? That’s grossly possessive and unhealthy. I don’t like how Jason’s acted through most of this plot line either, but his reaction today doesn’t bother me nearly as much as Tony’s.
He might, but again, A) Dead for three years and B) Even if he hasn’t processed that yet, SHE IS STILL CLEARLY DISTRAUGHT and it’s just a friggin hug.
And yeah, @ Lightn!ng – I thought so too. That, plus his (SPOILERS)
anger issues, as we see later
(END SPOILERS)
makes me worried for how they’d have gone long term. I mean, sure, Sal considered Tony her soulmate at the time he died, but I have to wonder about long term health sometimes, cute as most of their interactions were when we saw them together.
Yeah but they literally just got there. I don’t think Jason and Tony really know what’s going on, let alone what Sal was just threatening to do, or the subsequent emotional meltdown. They arrived and Tony sees someone who was his girlfriend like 5min ago his time (not like he was aware the entire time he was dead since, you know, he was dead) clutching her ex.
I don’t exactly like Tony. He’s a violent nutcase too. But from his point of view, where he doesn’t know much and just recently stopped being dead and out of his damn mind, this might be a reasonable reaction. Unreasonable would’ve been tossing Jason out of his way for trying to stop him, and then beating the crap out of Danny.
He doesn’t need to know the full context to notice that Sal is clearly upset though. “What’s going on?” is reasonable. “Why’s my girlfriend crying?” is reasonable. “Who is that guy with Sal?” is reasonable. “HEY! THAT’S MY GIRLFRIEND” is not.
I remember liking Jason from this series, but I don’t particularly remember what about him. I guess he must have earned a lot of credit with me for hating send-away degrees or something.
While true, I would personally consider “You were a danger to others and I had no way to restrain or stop you at the time, so I shot you to save a person’s life” a stronger reason than ‘I shot you, but I felt bad about it!’
Yeah, Jason just can fuck right off here. Like, really dude? Really? REALLY? You never had a relationship with Sal, you weren’t DEAD, you have no leg to stand on here, fuck off you asshole. (Tony I do have more sympathy for, though not that much. You’re… worried about your girlfriend *hugging* someone else when she was off her rocker in general and specifically about to fucking destroy a continent??)
Joyce’s pissed face at Sal and Danny hugging was pretty “oh are you fucking kidding me,” considering JOYCE YOU ALSO NEVER HAD A RELATIONSHIP WITH DANNY WTF. But Jason just manages to be that much more fucking obnoxious, because entitled dudes being pissy is something I deal with regularly and yeah.

Danny’s the type of… hmm… idk but the relateds seem appropriate?
I just don’t want to THINK about it, okay?
Downbeat
BLUSH
Beer and chicks
So she’s gone?
Puberty
Noise
Drawn to her charisma
Interesting points
You can tell Joyce
This is the tale of the residents of Planet Jason, as told by his imagination:
Purely platonic
Little help please
Some random innocent
What a relief!
What the hell am Ah doin’?
Oh, Tony. He really does still think he and Sal are a thing.
I’d feel slightly more sympathy if he didn’t KNOW it’d been three years. Dude, she’s not a nun.

Does Tony know Danny is her ex? I seem to recall that she kept a picture of either him or them together in her room but I might be remembering wrong.

I think I like Jason in this universe better than DoA Jason, who’s much more annoying.
And he gets much, much better. We have not yet begun to British.

hush it up too, Jason, you lost that fight.
it’s not a good week for the J.
Planet Jason must be a really shitty place.
Food’s awful, the weather sucks, and half the population is trying to push them out of their solar system.
Lol, did you reference Brexit at the end?
You know, Tony, as dealbreakers go, I would tend to list “she shot me dead” pretty high up there.
In her defence, he was STRANGLING someone to death and (as far as she knew at the time) they had no way of stopping him.
And she was sad about it!
While true, I would personally consider “You were a danger to others and I had no way to restrain or stop you at the time, so I shot you to save a person’s life” a stronger reason than ‘I shot you, but I felt bad about it!’
She had good reasons, but that still feels like it’d be a raincloud over the relationship.
Yeah, you’d think.
Jaosn: Vindication Bitch !
Is that dialogue, or are you suggesting he is the “Vindication Bitch”?

Tony doesn’t know most of the stuff about Sal’s slide to crazy yet. He has very little to go on.
I always thought Planet Jason was “Sal doesn’t tell me anything”, still kind of petty.
So…. I guest Billie died off panel…or not…
Who’s he disallowing from navigating, and why? I can’t figure out any context for that statement. from the past few strips.
Tony and Jason have just arrived – they are late to the party, presumably because Tony was navigating poorly.
Why did he let the dead guy navigate anyway?
Welcome to Planet Jason, population … you. And Jason.
Family troubles?
Any sign of them?
Ah’ll KILL you!
Is it all right if I talk to you?
