Was it a conjoining room? or was Howard just directly across the hall?
They mention sharing a toilet with him, so undoubtedly a conjoining room.
is that how it’s set up there? at my school the whole hall shared a bathroom, so across the hall made sense to me.
They only share the toilet. They don’t share a full bathroom. There’s no bath in that room.
I thought Howard was across the hall. I pictured “sharing a toilet” in the sense of “there’s only one bathroom on this floor”, like it was in my old dorm.
