Ingrown? YIKES.
My issue with shaving (parts other than my face) everyday is razor burn. The skin gets roughed up and irritated, which rather defeats the purpose.
Of course, letting it grow out to… that degree… is not really an option either.
Actually, I’ve always wanted to try electrolysis, but I also don’t have money. I mean, I think I don’t – I’ve heard it gets very expensive.
I’ve heard electrolysis ends up cheaper in the long run if you just buy your own machine. There’s this streamer I used to watch a lot on Twitch and she used the electrolysis machine on herself and would also do sessions with people. I don’t know if she had any certification or if that’s necessary but she definitely did those things.
I am not keen on stubble, myself. I have a full beard, which is pretty soft, since any time I’ve shaved, my face is grey within a half hour, it feels like. Plus, I just look better with a beard, anyway.
I would try letting my stubble grow into a beard, but I’m just used to shaving at this point, and when I don’t shave for too long it feels way too itchy.
Husband claims to do this bc if he shaves before it’s long enough, it’ll become ingrown
I tell him to let it get to like 2-3 inches, but THEN he complains it’s greasy
I offered to get him electrolysis but *mumblemumble*
can’t win!

Hubby did Nair for a while, which was a mixed bag bc that shit smells gross (but works reasonably well otherwise)
What I find weird is he’ll shave his legs, too… like, upper legs, where it grows back pricklier 😬
My wife is the complete opposite. She gets sad when I shave. I get it. I think I should cover my face as much as possible too.

Walky with a beard would be odd to see.
Hurricane Ike was no fun. Tore the back wall off my building and tore the roof off our apartment.
I like having facial hair… but it gets too damn itchy
Dandruff shampoo and/or beard oil does wonders for that, I’ve found.

Guess I would shave more often if I had a girlfriend to remind me – probably even before she does so.
*remembers having plans for shaving today*
*heads for the bathroom*
Huh, people are still shaving in the After Times? I do it maybe once every two weeks.
