A huge pet peeve of mine back then.
Not a huge pet peeve of mine: believing the world is only 6000 years old.
Clearly my priorities were suspicious.
Quick Joyce, do it anyway.
and the difference is…?
thanks to Batman I know that mistletoe is poison, I don’t think holly is.
The berries are mildly toxic.
By “mildly” I mean apparently they won’t kill you, just cause vomiting and diarrhea. PLEASANT KISSING!
But just remember a kiss can be deadlier if you mean it. …God those movies were stupid.
They look absolutely nothing alike?
Both are green? Then again, many plants are.
I don’t even know how to form a reasonable response to that train of thought.
A better reason? How about lack of consent?
… BUT WHAT IS THE LEGAL TERM FOR SEXUALLY HARRASSING SOMEONE UNDER A SPRIG OF HOLLY?
You sure it’s not poison oak? You could totally get away with saying it’s poison oak.
It’s like I don’t even know you anymore, Joyce…
Joyce has been taking a johnny bravo lesson in love.
Did anyone else actually read that in Johnny bravo’s voice?
MATH
Just all of it. All the math.
Actually, it’s a rather specialized book about the metaalgebraic analysisaemorphis of Terng-complete Humboldt-semiparaquasiequations.
Oh man, I’ve seen someone else doing that recently … and another answering “red” to a pub quiz question “what colour are mistletoe berries?”. Yeah, because of ALLLLLL THOSE PICTURES of the stuff with red berries on. Not.
Bizarrely this year is the first time it’s ever happened in my personal experience, and although I had put the comics to one side for a week, it was about the same time as this one went (back) online.
I blame Walky in that case. DAMN YOU, WILLIS!
