I feel I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out that the Beatles song was actually making fun of an article in the official magazine of the NRA, which was itself playing on the Charles Schulz thing.
I think I like it even less from Sal, since she’s been shown in a more sympathetic (if unhealthy) light. (And, IIRC, Sal and Jason end up getting together, which makes it even worse…)
Wow Sal, I mean it’s not the first time she tried to rekendal old feelings with an ex that’s finally moved on after years of obsessing over her. But I would have thought she would have done something’s differently this time around.
I’m not entirely sure how different Marcie is in this universe compared to Marcie in DoA, but I suspect I’d prefer her over Sal’s “stupid and crazy and rough”.
“HAPPINESS, what is that even”
A warm gun, according to Lennon-McCartney.
It’s also a warm puppy, according to Charles Schulz.
Does that mean puppies are guns? Why isn’t anyone researching this?!

You know, frankly, I’m just finding it kind of refreshing that Sal gets a turn at being the boundary-ignoring selfish idiot in this relationship.
A relationship that’s no longer a relationship, but yeah role reversal.
She learned it from watching him!
So many turns until she can call it even.
Didn’t Drew drop that same line in Shortpacked!
Or close enough, yeah.

Really? Have I forgotten how she broke in to some guys house last time and asked him to marry her?
She didn’t ask Danny to marry her, but she did break into his house at a late point in IW.

That’s a vicious and selfish thing to say but that is Walkyverse Sal in many ways.
Yeah.
Sometimes people realize things are unhealthy and go to therapy and/or work stuff out.
Man. Sal’s kind of a huuuuge asshole, isn’t he?
Stupid and crazy and rough may be fun after a night of drinking, but you don’t marry it.
