My life drawing class was mostly male models. They were the same handful of folks repeated, for the most part. It was funny to see who in the class would refuse to draw the dongs. C’mon, guys, it isn’t gonna make you gay. Quit drawin’ Ken dolls.
It’s not that it will make them gay. It’s that it will awaken something deep inside them that the never realized was there before and a yearning not known previously shall erupt forth and the only way to calm it is more and more dongs until their lives are nothing but the pursuit thereof.
Dongs Disease is the tragically under-researched cousin of Butts Disease; though less common it claims nearly twice as many lives annually, due to its aggressive progression and the lack of effective treatments.
And yet the only one of the Rennaisance dudes named after turtles who wasn’t gay is the one who isn’t noted for drawing/sculpting a dong, and instead drew women falling out of their tops. (Raphael.)
It’s funny – between when this rerun went up and now, I’ve actually taken a couple drawing classes that involved nude models. And in my experience… I mean, I didn’t draw the dongs in great detail a lot of the time, but that’s because their position inherently kind of hides them away! Like, sure, *occasionally* it isn’t blocked by a leg, but even then it’s generally easier to just kinda sketch a vague shape there because it’s more important to get the shape and dimension of the limbs and chest.
Of course, part of the problem is that I’m slow at drawing. But eh.
(also we had sans-dong models like 2/3 of the time anyway so)
Why does Mary make it sound like nude sketches of Joe are a bad thing?
because nudity is INDECENT!
And it’s yucky! And Joe has cooties!
Because Joe is super gross dude cmon
tru
Because then she might have to admit she has the hots for him WOO WOO WOO
Speaking of hots — that’s not a canon gravatar from the comic, is it? Am I going to have to go on an archive run?
I think The Willis drew it for Jen? Or maybe from his Tumblr?
Funny thing was it was women for me. Granted, it was a stupid early-ass morning class and I was auditing anyway so only made it to three sessions.

Yah, gay.

Or maybe they are just shy
So did young Willis draw the dong? Or was he one of the ones who didnt
This is what I want to know!
A prospective penis-penning pornlord preparing to profit!
…Pleasantly practicing the production of pricks on plain paper!
…Stop me.
Pray, please persist.
I did all the alliteration with the letter P. So that you can all be in awe of my P-ness.
And he’s answered it at Tumblr.

I had a similar experience, except it was the female model was sick or forgot about the class
