I mean, I like Becky, but using reverse psychology to keep two people who had already broken up from being a couple again was not one of her finest moments, and it’s not one of yours either.
This guy again? You know when I said he should meet up with his mom if he missed her so much this not what I meant. Like the hell dude- wait his interaction with “Miss Brown” is he talking about Joyce? Did I miss an important update, also the hell did he do?
‘Rescuing hostages is too hard…Instead I’ll just play silly buggers with causality and eliminate the existence of dozens of people whose only crime is getting captured alongside me.’
I’m confused, aren’t HA’s hostages from alternate timelines? How does changing things in one timeline prevent future kids from another timeline from being born?
It’s all about probabilities. As the hostages’ probability of existence trends towards zero, then time rewrites itself and they were never there for Head Alien to kidnap and enthral.
Time War is a headache to conduct. Lots of uncertainty and alternate possibilities to account for.
Oh, and DJ isn’t as good a covert operative as he thinks. Then again, Sal is the sort of woman who wouldn’t want a mysterious, shadowy figure to reveal themselves in their own time, is she?
Kind of freaky that a woman who could have but isn’t your mother can still see through you like she raised you!
D.J. you’re being a bit of a Becky right now.

wait what happened to those hostages? Did they just cease to exist?
Intervention in the timeline averted their existence.

poking holes in walky/joyce condoms doesn’t get rid of other couples’ offspring
it might get rid of one walky/joyce offspring who those other couples’ offspring no longer have had to try to universe-jump to rescue

Because the whole point of the Kids From the Future in this story is Willis pointing out that Kids From the Future never make any sense.
Well he’s doing a real good fucking job.

Is this a nod to Harry Lime’s first appearance in The Third Man?
Cos I can believe Willis would do that.
