I’m confused, aren’t HA’s hostages from alternate timelines? How does changing things in one timeline prevent future kids from another timeline from being born?
It’s all about probabilities. As the hostages’ probability of existence trends towards zero, then time rewrites itself and they were never there for Head Alien to kidnap and enthral.
Time War is a headache to conduct. Lots of uncertainty and alternate possibilities to account for.
