Good this was pretty much exactly what I was getting at yesterday.
“Things will never be like the war again”. Not until 2020 that is. Or the Soggies but that wasn’t so much a war as it was a brutal slaughter.
I’m wondering when Willis stopped blacking out the swear words in his comics. I could’ve sworn it was before this, but I guess I was wrong.
It’s been a chosen style choice to self-censor strong swears in It’s Walky! material for almost forever, up to and including drawing a little scribble over my wife’s f-bomb in her foreword in the recent It’s Walky! book. I decided that’s just how that corner of that universe works, despite how much I swear elsewhere.
Not to mention the Martian re-invasion of Earth.
Of course the Soggies invasion went differently, SEMMF had been disbanded and everyone was working at a toy store by then.
