Bad, Howard! Very bad!
on June 26, 2014 at 12:01 amChapter: The Wrong Answer
Characters: Carly Spencer, Danny Wilcox, Howard Lesse, Joe Rosenthal, Mary Bradford, Ron Brooks, Sarah Clinton
Location: Ruth's house
Danny needs to think a little more about why he’s the Worst while they smear Howard’s face on the ground. Look, don’t rush him.
Okay, seriously though. I know the only other option is living next to Danny, but can’t you force him to move if you’d have to deal with this?
Stand outside his door. At night. Staring.
Not talking. With a candle. And a hood. And spock ears.
So, we’re you making everyone horrible people on purpose? I get that your relationship with Danny was complicated at the time but was everyone else supposed to be horrible at this point?
Next, on “It’s Horrible People!”
Faces make for crappy mops… hair on the other hand…
5 years later, Danny bolts upright and exclaims, “I just realized Carly and Ron were horrible people!”
“And Ruth and Billie had sexy make-outs! Wait, no, that can’t be right…”
-Back to sleep-
-Bolts awake again-
“The peasant – in the diner! He didn’t pay his bill!”
I realize that college can be a mite rough, but this is ridiculous. C’mon Danny, grab Howard and drag him back to the dorms.
I am going to assume that Sarah and Joe’s expressions are not ones of ambivalence but of brain shutdown by sheer “Wait. What. What the fuck.”
These last few strips have pretty much been ‘everyone is terrible’ kind of strips. And now Danny is spacing out feeling sorry for himself for being an idiot, while Howard is forced to mop up sick with his face. Lovelyy
