C’mon! Let’s get on the dance floor!
on July 13, 2016 at 12:01 amwait this pub has a dance floor????
please tell me they’re not unwittingly re-enacting the silent dance scene from The Rocketeer.
see this is why there needed to be more than one liquor establishment in this webcomic, or at least a separate distinct dance club
Anyway, search your feelings, Joe, you know that ass is true.
Joe.exe has encountered an error, please reboot.
Me too.
“Dancing is about butts now!”
-Kimmy Schmidt, who is probably as close to Joyce as we will ever see in live action.
Agreed.
It’d probably be the same if Kimmy hadn’t done weird sex stuff in the bunker.
Then again… underground cult, Christianity, kinda the same ballpark.
That last frame of Joyce dancing looks like she’s holding a bug and really doesn’t want to look at it till she throws it in the toilet.

Also,
What do you think they’re dancing to?
I’m saying “It Wasn’t Me”
Whoops.

Yeah, whoops might be what they’re dancing to. 😛
I can only imagine ‘Aaron’s Party’. COME GET IT!
Either that, or ‘Never Can Tell’, because, you know, Pulp Fiction.
I think the most interesting part is that if Joe and Joyce from DOA were somehow put into a similar context, the reactions would probably be the same.
I always love Joyce’s dance moves here…
She’s actually just dancing to the music on the jukebox in the middle of the pub. That’s why Joe is so embarrassed about it, when obviously, a womanizer like him would already know how easily attracted women are to a guy who can dance.
The center panel in color…
And I’ve been waiting for tomorrow’s strip to show up for quite some time now…
Shake your booty!

Oh how things have changed.
Nothing will convince me that today’s strip is not a callback to that. Perverse sexual lust indeed!
Seriously. These two are the best.
It’s so good I suddenly like DoA!Joe so much more.
Okay, I could swear Joyce did those exact same dance moves in a DoA strip, but I have no idea when.
