Yet, a promise IS a promise.

Characters: Jason Chesterfield, Jim Carrington
Location: Professor Doc's lab
“please don’t be like raiders, please don’t be like raiders, please don’t be like raiders”
he rocks the trenchcoat and tactical turtleneck look well.
Tactilneck
I’ve got to give Jason props: even if he is flinching while doing it dude is displaying balls of steel, throwing a punch he knows might well take his arm off.
Jason is pretty lucky that Jim isn’t like an airplane propeller while he’s in Tasmanian devil mode here. Though I’m not really sure how safe it is to try to grab a moving ceiling fan either.
Depends on if the ceiling fan is still turned on or is just spinning from momentum.
If the former, then stopping it with your hand might break it or damage the motor – same for forcibly stopping any electric motor.
If the latter, then the only danger is getting whatever gross dust has accumulated on the fan on your hand.
Anyway, stopping it manually stings for a second – just like getting a forceful high-five – but does no real damage to your hand either way.
It stings your fingers if you do it right, might cause bad bruises or even a broken bone if you do it wrong, but it won’t splatter your limbs all over the kitchenette.
Lead with your left if it might get chopped off.
well, not if you’re a lefty, that might be bad
High five to Jason for being the rare enough person to be willing to sacrifice if needed to keep his word.
Also still being able to give a high five with either hand still is a definite bonus.
Oh, ha! I forgot this part. Things DO work out for Jason now and again!
This really calls into question whether Jim’s “power” is good for anything at all, really.
