Bro: “Check this out. So, this guy’s wearing a bulletproof vest, and his friend SHOOTS him in the chest, then his OTHER friend goes up and PUNCHES him where he got shot.”
It looks like Jason, although I suppose it could be Mike.
I’m going with Jason, though. It takes a special level of incompetence to get overpowered by someone a third of your size whom you’ve already got pinned to the ground. I don’t think Mike is quite capable of that.
We saw the shape of his head. Who have we seen who has a similar head shape and has survived seemingly being definitely killed previously in this comic?
My hazy memory says “Alan”, but since he was appearing in the tags as “Man-In-Black”, I figured I was misremembering and that he was his own character that was never not in shadow. The tags here usually favour consistency over avoiding spoilers, so I’m not sure why they’d hide his identity now.
Well, it would explain how he was able to defeat those lions.
Anyone else think the reason Faz didn’t get eaten, was because Mike punched him so much, that he eventually started to develop a hard second skin, similar to how your feet get tougher if you walk around without shoes.
When did this come out relative to Men in Black? I only ask because of the juxtaposition of a Man-in-Black and a handheld device the wipes people’s memories…
That’s a real nice one-liner at the end there.
It is, but it also makes me think, “So you’re saying your gun mere bruised him? That’s not a great boast.”
“The Bruiserâ„¢ — get one from your licensed Alien Gun Retailer today!”

Me: “Are you watching Tosh.0?”

crud scones! i marathoned all of the comics last year, and yet i don’t recall the identity of this dark man to which you are hinting.
…scoooooooones!

It can’t be Jason, since he was recruited into SEMME at the same time Sal was.

Oh, now that I actually click on that tag, I see it’s explained in Man-In-Black’s first appearance. Nevermind.
Oh riiiight! I forgot that he appeared in a storyline before this!
Oh yeah, it’s Allen, isn’t it?
Oh, yeah, dumb puns. That’s more like the H.A. I know and… know.
Even knowing who he really is, it sure seems to me like that man-in-black just got shot in a fatal way.
So it’s Claire from Heroes?!??
or Wolverine I guess
Wolverine would never wear a hat like that. It just ruins his amazing hair.
Deadpool?
Sidekick Girl!
Or, really, any superhero. It’s not like they ever stay dead.
Someone shot fatally? *gasp* it’s Tony!
I have no memory of who this dude is and it’s bugging me.
It’s Faz! He never knows when to give up.
Well, it would explain how he was able to defeat those lions.

I’ve read IW! twice and I used to think it was Head Alien who said “Sal! Run!”
I’m not quite sure why, in hindsight.
