I know he’ll find in star clustered reaches
Love, strange love a star woman teaches.
Fun fact: Gene Roddenberry never intended to use the lyrics. He wrote them just to get a co-writing credit on the song and 50% of the royalties because he didn’t think the show would be profitable and was looking to grab extra money anywhere he could.
This is Mike. He’s had pity sex with Dina (possibly with debatable consent) and now he’s challenging Walky to understand what’s going on and make a choice on what to do next.
The Walkerton siblings don’t much like doors, do they? 😛
Boy, that poll on the side is starting to seem just a leeeetle outdated there.
Drunkenness? Check? Depression? Check!
Admittedly, this is a situation where I’m glad not to run into Danny.

Now I’ve got the Star Trek theme stuck in my head and it just feels so unfitting.
TOS or TNG? Not that either one seems appropriate.
Abrams Trek. The one that plays to heroic young’uns racing dramatically through doors and hallways.
Enterprise, on the other hand, is just as inappropriate here as anywhere else.
I like TOS, TNG, Voyager, and Enterprise, so any of them is fine for me. None of them are fitting for today’s strip though.

You can tell, it sounds like he wrote them in about an hour.
Not the only slightly skeezy thing Roddenberry did, but overall he was pretty ok, apparently.

I mean, I’d be worried about anybody who had Mike coming out of their door too.
