We’re home, guys.

Mo’ boners, mo’ problems.
anyway either joyce’s legs are incredibly long or she’s standing on a box
I don’t get the complaint on this one. Joyce doesn’t look tall, she’s almost a head shorter than Joe. Why would her legs have to be incredibly long?
note where her crotch is in relation to joe’s, height-wise
and then extrapolate joe’s legs down, and then extrapolate joyce’s to match
You know, had I noticed it before I read your comment, I would have just assumed that was some sort of perspective foreshortening thing where Joyce was closer to the “camera” or something.
Joyce’s crotch is way higher than Joe’s, so her legs would be hella long to reach the ground if Joe’s on the same level
That or Joe has hella short legs
also I type too slow
Wait.
Joe is bi… Too? Is he, pan?
Wait.
WAIT.
WHAT.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT.
But.
But?
I.
wooooooooooooah.
No, he liked it when Joyce was male because then he wasn’t attracted to her and feeling conflicted and weird.
Pretty much. Joe’s fear of confronting his feelings for Joyce is a multi-universe constant.
But, the down side was Walki had a butt.
Damn it. That’s true I get it but that’s more boring.
Landjoe Calrosenthal?
I think Joe almost came close to expressing his feelings here.
The prisoner who now stands before you
Was caught red-handed showing feelings
Showing feelings of an almost human nature
This will not do
Butt-judge makes objectively shitty decisions.
It makes sense to me that Joe has a real problem just being friends with a girl. Maybe he feels that he must be always seductive with girls. Boy!Joyce let him be their friend because the sexual element was no longer and issue. Which is sad but most things about Joe’s behaviour is sad.
This was Sat. December 27, 2003 . 304 days remain (305 if Mr. Willis runs that X-mas strip on here before IW! wraps).
Yesterday, Sporky suggested the idea that the X-mas strip should just be run on X-mas this year. That is 78 days hence. Looking ahead, it would be a welcome enough break at that exact moment, what with Walky being in the midst of his angsty “We’ll try to do what we have to and we’ll die in the process” phase.
Joyce’s vest is made of sold stuff. It’s holding its shape perfectly under her arm in the last panel.
All Semme uniforms are lined with kevlar and heavily starched for durability. It’s cheaper than buying new ones all the time.
p sure there’s a jetpack in it somehow
