Wait! I’m left-handed.

Characters: David Walkerton, Sal Walters
Location: SEMME downtown housing building
(He’s not.)
I could snark up the content of this strip a bit, but instead I’m going to hyperfocus on the three little shock-lines pulsating from Sal’s head in panel one which were nearly completely covered up by the word balloon. This is why you plan your compositions ahead. Or, if you’re lucky, you work digitally and can move stuff around to keep elements clear.
Walky, just strategically shove crayons up your nose
No more smarts!
Or smack your head against the dashboard. That works, too.
This is, oddly, the best Walky strip of all. Or, at least, the first three panels. I mean, he’s clearly been listening to Dina about how smart he is…
I’m not used to seeing the whites of both Sal’s and Walky’s eyes this much.
One thing we’ve learned from this arc is that Sal is very, very bad at adapting to being on a losing streak.
So, have we seen Walky’s vision or did it happen off panel? I’m trying to remember and check the archives but I can’t seem to find it.
Pretty sure we either don’t get it at all or only get it later.
