Truth is absolute and unchanging

Well, it’s not like you could read ahead and know what the next comic says or anything, Willis.
Oh, wait….
Suicide is the only answer now Joyce. 😛
Was the subtext of yesterday’s strip being annoyed at a fan who desired to never change? Because I got that. It came through quite well actually.
Y’know what, I’m sorry about a few comics ago, I forgot about these comics of Joyce concerned about her world view. TOMORROW should be the last of the Redux strips.
Silly me.
I believe you are correct.
Sarcasm or Sincerity? Either way you’re curious now.
LALALALA, I CAN’T HEAR YOU!
Also, Joyce’s face in the third panel cracks me up, and I don’t know why.
“Shit I left the stove on at home”
It just seems so out of place on Joyce’s face.
She looks like she’s turned paranoid supervillain. “Ultra-Man must be lying in wait for me!”
“I WILL FIND HIM!!!!! …And by him, I mean my husband.”
“CRUSH! DESTROY! MARRY!”
Joyce as a crazy paranoid supervillain would be hilarious. Even better if the heroes really aren’t after her at all, and they just get involved because of her attempts to thwart them.
Because we love getting your “director’s cut” remarks!
Watching this happen is awesome
Why is she even in college? And by extension – why did her parents even want her to go to college?
I mean, if the Bible contains everything you need to know, why fill your head with all sorts of extraneous and potentially subversive information?
Why is she there? To get her Mrs. of course. Remember this is set before dating screened for matches, also before Christen Mingle or J-date
Niche dating sites are all part of a sinister Eugenicist plot to prevent people from breeding outside their sociopolitical demographics.
I read it on the intermanets.
If the Bible contains everything you need to know, how does anybody ever know how to get anything done?
Silly Joyce forgets the “on average” part. Her beliefs are correct and unchanging, so there are simply ten or so people out there whose beliefs change completely every year. Which makes sense because their beliefs are wrong.
Phew! You’ve just saved Joyce a huge headache.
“The sky is blue. This is the truth, therefore it is absolute and unchanging.”
(Sunset)
“THE SKY IS RED, EVERYTHING I KNOW IS A LIIIEEEE”
How did she pass a single science class?
How is she in college?
How is she living!?
Leslie’s first lecture to Roz in DoA (with the block of marble on the board) would have probably been a good thing for Joyce here (or is that tomorrow’s comic? Maybe I shouldn’t commentate either).
Now I see why you got in trouble

Ah yes, “flee the appearance of evil” means you should avoid not only everything you disagree with, but also anything that you’re not 100% sure is “godly.” I remember how…BORING it is to live that way.
