Last Action Hero is a great film. I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
I liked that movie too, despite the negative reviews.
People saying “the The Tar tar pits” always make me giggle.
or the Desert desert? (sahara)
or melonOOOOHOHO
Torpenhow Hill (in the UK) is the best: “tor” being Old Welsh for hill, “pen” being Proto-Brythonic for hill, “how” (haugh) being Old Norse for hill, and “hill” being English for hill.
So, it’s Hill-hill-hill Hill.
yes XD XD
People don’t like Last Action Hero?
I find most people who didn’t like Last Action Hero didn’t understand it was a loving deconstruction. They went in expecting either a straight up action movie or a full on parody.
You know what’s funny I confused “Last action Hero” for the Movie “Lonely hero.”
*Lone Hero
It’s so advanced, it looks like CG!
Oh.
Oh THIS.
Ya that melon head crossover…I’m not going to lie I read that once and then the 4 other time I re-read Itswalky I skipped over it.
Yeah. Also the action is confusing as fuck since I don’t know the other comic.
I can’t remember if I discovered Melonpool through this, or rediscovered this through Melonpool, or something else entirely, but… yeah. I know the other comic pretty well.
The worst part is it’s plot-relevant. (That said, I did manage to follow – vaguely – what was going on this first one. But then we’ve already established my first readthrough was in a hormonal deficiency-induced haze, so I’m not taking that as a sign of anything. *Shrug*)
Because it’s got the famous comedian Arnold Braunschweiger.
Never understood the hate The Last Action Hero got.
Played a bigger role in Volcano.
Tools are useless if you don’t have the skills to use them. Imagine a caveman trying to use a EM signal tracer. That’s the skill slope that the Purple Helmets are trying to scale here!
For some reason, I really got a kick out of the video store display featuring Sylvester Stallone as the Terminator.
“Last Action Hero” rocks indeed.
I’d like to say it isn’t just to be contrary, but my integrity wouldn’t let me. I loved it as a kid, and still found it entertaining as an adult.
“Remarkable scanning tools”…foreshadowing the Sensitive Scanner?
