Anyway, as I noted yesterday, Steve Troop was way better at art than me.  And I noticed this.  And so as to make myself feel better, I started throwing in gradients to sort of spruce things up.  I mean, it didn’t affect my lineart any, but I was desperate.  It was kind of like shoving all your stuff under the bed just before people come over, or maybe like throwing a tarp over it.
