Of course, nowadays, many corporations won’t even allow you two weeks. Doesn’t matter if you’re being laid off, fired for cause, or quitting on your own — once notice is given, you’ve got a few minutes to clean out your desk (while security watches you) and then escorted out of the building.
I once worked at a place where, after i gave my 2 weeks notice, I actually got slightly more hours (it was already part-time), I guess they wanted to get everything they could out of those 2 weeks (or maybe someone else DIDN’T give notice, and they needed the workers)
… So uh. She’s taking it… not as terribly as she could be?
Colorado is an at-will state actually
What does these vague words mean?
Generally, two weeks’ is a courtesy, not a requirement
also I’m sure Sal isn’t really concerned about being rehired anywhere

This is food service. Generally we, as an industry, want you to work those full two weeks so we have time to hire and start training your replacement.
Same with healthcare

I have to give two *months* notice. It’s in my contract. On the plus side, the same goes for my employer.
Of course there are exceptions in case either side does things horribly wrong, but in general either side has to do the 2 months.
It means your actually valuable. What do you do?
So I’ve caught up to speed, things seems to be sucking more for Sal… don’t know where this is going but it doesn’t seem good.
Sucking less for Sal. As in less sucking Jason.
I’ll see myself out. Unless Yotomoe shows up here to provide a visual for that.
Did Sal just ride to her now former workplace on top of a random car?
… Checks out.
I don’t think Walkyverse Sal has a motorcycle, so how else is she supposed to travel around?
She ended up quitting because of a being from out of this world.
Forget two weeks, how about two seconds?
I’d advise Sal not to do anything short-sighted and stupid but I’m not convinced that she is.
Not till she confronts Marcie anyway.
