I’ve mentioned seldomly over the years that I have a jewelry phobia. This is one of those things that you probably can’t unsee in my character designs once you know it exists, but there you have it. So, like, this strip was VERY HARD TO DRAW. I DISLIKE it strongly. I don’t even like UPLOADING it. I am on edge and trying not to look at my monitor and honestly people need to stay away from me right now until I can save this page, walk away, and get calm again.
i’m weird okay
wow, you and my hubby
I had to get a silicone ring for him, not sure if that would help
Damn you, ring, you get to go down the aisle first before Billie and Danny!
Kosmemophobia. Huh. Never heard of it before.
Methinks Joe did that on purpose.
Huh. That’s really interesting. I’d never heard of that particular phobia.
Well then, thank you for the effort you took both in drawing this page and in uploading it.
That said, since I hate what follows, I kinda wish you’d gone with your baser instincts, minimized the ring stuff, and just moved on faster.
Sorry. I just really want this arc to be over. The next arc is so much better. And I feel like I’ve been waiting on it for so very long.
So I take it we’ll never be seeing a cock ring over on Slipshine…?
“And the ring of power had a will of its own. It betrayed Danny Wilcox – to his death.”
Exactly what I was thinking of haha
I wonder if a jewelry phobia would make those stories intolerable or more relatable.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only person who thought of that when I read this strip.
Joyce picks up the ring. “My…precious…“
I hope it doesn’t go down a storm drain.
Jewelry phobia IS weird, but I have a thing about tape being dragged across my fingernails. Everyone has something.
You weirdo.
So that’s really why Joyce’s engagement ring was a chicken ring.
So, like, does the Green Lantern set off the phobia?
