I don’t know, killing them means they can’t come back to fight you again, while mind-wiping them means they still can be some use to SEMME, and they might regain their memories eventually like Joyce did. Then again there’s Martian resurrection technology, so even if the Britjas kill some of them they can still be brought back to life.
Maybe it’s to avoid it turning into one of those plans? You know, the ones where they start killing everyone who’s noticing that they’re killing people?
Yes let’s not spoil it. Also pretty sure it’s over a week away. Anyway her whispered response there where anyone close enough could overhear is more of a hindrance than anything she may do physically in this specific location.
I love how the attacker assumes he’s going to win. It’s necessary to have a certain degree of confidence but it can undermine your performance sometimes.
Also, since when have the mind-wipers been ranged? Something tells me that Penny’s lab boys have been keeping the best stuff back for themselves.
Well, we don’t know for sure that they’re as thorough as the one in SEMME’s basement, and we’ve seen that even that isn’t completely thorough, so maybe I should find alternative words to thorough because it’s starting to sound thoroughly weird to me. Thorough thorough thorough thorough thorough thorough Thoreau
Well… there had to be a nicer way to say it, but, I mean, he’s not WRONG. At least, not as far as he could possibly know. It’s nice that Dina wants to develop some new interests that expand her current skill set and shore up her cratering self-worth, but maybe not when those new interests are likely to get her mindwiped or worse within seconds?
This is the “sass the exes” storyline?
I can’t help but feel there’s something backwards about mind-wiping being your fallback for if killing doesn’t work, instead of vice-versa… 😛

Half of SEMME was dead at some point. It’s like they’re in a comic about super-powered people. Oh, wait…

And before you know it, everyone’s dead, Denver is on fire, and you’ve lost your hat. And any plan where you lose your hat is a bad plan.
Oh my god that works far too well for this storyline
But doesn’t she end up getting in the way anyway and it ends up getting – actually we’re just a few pages away don’t need to spoil it.

He’s right, though. Nothing bad can happen to Dina in the lab.
