Would be funny to see her emerging under his robe to get her diploma and then get back there.

Plot twist: the woman under the robe was Mary, she managed to sneak away without anyone noticing.
It was the only way to get close to Danny without Billie noticing.
So who’s Mary’s opposite?
Jesus, probably. Opposites attract, after all.
Let’s see… Jesus opposed the status quo, had compassion for those who were marginalized or rejected, preached against discrimination, and believed actually doing good was more important than performing the right ceremonies or speaking the right religious platitudes. Sounds about right?
I had no idea wet fish were particularly known for forgiveness, buth there you go.

Well, only the wet ones. Once they’re dry – well then they’re dead, so unless they have vengeful fish-ghosts, you can pretty much forget about any grudges they might’ve held.
My interpretation of his comment was that he holds the grudge the same way he holds a wet fish, not that he holds a grudge the same way a wet fish holds a grudge.
Umm, yes, I’m sure that’s the way it was intended. But why spoil a perfectly good joke?

I don’t remember exactly what happened to Mary, but I do recall hating her in the future for some reason.
