If you look at Joe in the first panel you can see Willis almost lazily drawing him. He might have even had a more boring strip in mind. By panel two, he had an inclination building. Panel three. ‘FUCK YOU ALL!’

He makes a talking car that can fly in space later on, so I totally buy this.
And I buy him building a talking car because he had already built a flying scooter with modded tennis table parts.
The cycle of Logic is complete !
Is this the first time we see Joe build a crazy invention in this strip?
Chronologically? I believe so.
