I can’t imagine why Billie thinks that this is a good thing to force Danny to do. I mean, it’s nice that she can use her superpowers (boobs and punching) to get Danny to face the consequences of his actions, but, seriously, Howard recently lost his sister, the only person who ever cared about him. Isn’t that enough punishment without making him talk to Danny too?
Of course it isn’t. No one ever cares about Howard except as a target of abuse. Except Ruth, and she’s dead.
(And don’t Howard and his unseen roommate (my headcanon is still that it’s Buckets of Blood Guy) share the half-bath with Danny and Joe? And wasn’t it been established over in DoA that in this dorm there’s no way to lock the half-bath out of your room? So Danny could just go through the bathroom instead of pounding and yelling and swearing at Howard through the door? I mean, I guess that would be impolite, but so is the dickhole behaviour Danny’s exhibiting here.)
it could be a nebulizer as well, which makes more noise, but is less common for use among adults. My little brother had to use one when he was tiny. you sit there and it turns your medicine into a mist and you just breathe it in.
Personally, I assume nebulizer whenever I read this because the hum of the motor would be so something Danny would hear with a little effort and he would be less likely to know what it was

last year they shared a halfbath. this year they don’t. Joe mentioned that he and danny had their own bathroom this year.
