This guy was our actual wedding photographer! Well, a noncartoon version, anyway. I still follow him on Facebook. Neat guy. He’s actually one of those few people I don’t feel bad about following on Facebook. Unlike certain relatives.
He absolutely took photos of me mounting the actual cannons on the statehouse yard in a pirate outfit before the cops shooed us off them.

I missed the Ohio State trooper, but I have a copy of the photo. Think “Dr Strangelove” but straddling a cannon instead of a missile! Oh, and a pirate outfit instead of a cowboy outfit. 😀
Are the pics online anywhere? I’ve seen the typical (well, typical for David ‘n’ Maggie) wedding lineup photo, but thats all.

The only I know of it online is the wedding photo album on his FB. If you don’t have access to that, I think you’re out of luck.

Yes, but it was a photo of the wedding party on the statehouse steps, not David on the cannon. I tried to pull up the article on the Columbus Dispatch website, but their archive sucks (or they don’t save that far back. Pic was posted on their site 9/21/2009)
At some point, Walky is going to be told that this doesn’t even put him in the bottom 25% of the photographer’s previous clients.

I don’t want to get depressed looking it up, but there was one bride with a maskless wedding whose groom infected the photographer with COVID and was absolutely NOT SORRY about it when confronted later
If the whole wedding was maskless, how do they know it was the groom?
Not nitpicking, just genuinely curious.
She or the bridesmaid pulled the photographer aside and said it was too bad about the groom having COVID but at least they were pulling together for “HER DAY” and expected the photographer to just chuckle and be like, “yup, can’t ruin HER DAY” but instead she was legitimately upset and walked out but of course had already been exposed

like, I could concede if they were taking reasonable precautions, like my brother wants to come over for help getting an import car (it’s being shipped literally by ship to a place sort of nearby), and that’s reasonable bc he works from home and lives by himself only (and cat, I guess)

See, if people still used film cameras instead of digital ones, she could have responded by yanking the film out of her camera and saying “Sorry, I guess your shots were as exposed as I am” as the negative got burnt by the sun.
But aside from that, yeah, fuck those people.
