“Do I know you?”
“Um, perhaps THIS will jog your memory! … Um excuse me a moment.”
“What are you doing?”
“I need to grab your doorknob. You’re in the way. Could you just back up a step?”
“Oh, okay….Now what?”
“No no, you gotta back up a little more or I’m gonna slam the door on your head. Just back up…. A little more. Back up.”
“Uh….like this?”
“OK, perfect! Now…. … as I was saying, perhaps THIS will jog your memory!”
*Joe yanks on the door but it slips out of his hand*
“Shit, let me try that again….OK, you ready?”
“Sure…”
SLAM!
“OK how about now?”
muffled voice: “…No, still nothing.”

Also,
I love the way he reminds her. If I ever get amnesia, I want my siblings to remind me by doing something like this.
I love this next arc. Actually are there people who don’t?
oh, Joe and his magic door powers!
“Having memory problems? No problemo, Joe will solve you! Just step through this door….SLAM!”
“Feeling better?”
So what happens if he and Dina combine their respective door powers?
They create a horror themed park? That’s all I got.
It’s Walky! bomb door or Shortpacked! magic door?
Joe opens a door into Dina, causing her to lose her memory and believe she is a Zhenyuanlong suni
He litterally slapped a door close, while it was…opened on joyce’s side, with her in the way.
The door phasing through her body must’ve fixed something.
That’s a neat trick: slamming the door from the OUTSIDE, while Joyce is standing in its way!
Well, Joe had practised quite a lot when Joyce was at college.

I honestly wonder if scenes like these are why Willis is so careful about getting the doors right in DOA?
Sometimes it can be just one act that can leave the biggest impression on you.

Joe and Joyce hanging out? That’s weird. Who’d even think of that.
Best… Character… Reintroduction…. Ever!
Ah, the buried memories of torment resurface.
I’m trying to figure out how the door works in that last panel.
