It’s Walky!: EVERYONE CRAFTILY SMILES AND WE FIND OUT WHY LATER
My first time through, this scene totally made me think that Alan was evil.
My first time through, this scene didn’t exist, and Alan had nothing to do with Joyce taking Walky along. She just sort of… randomly decided it, because… stuff.
Yeah, the original strips had their issues, so seeing these for the first time is interesting.
Can YOU decode why Alan is smirking?
Decode this message to find out!
He ships it.
Nope. Buy more Ovaltine.
That was my second guess.
Meanwhile, Big Boss looks sad.
And this is one of the final times he and his son are in the same room together and alive, isn’t it?
On-screen, anyway.
This isn’t related to today’s comic HERE, but I can *almost* forgive the “No, I miss Danny” votes in the poll now ;p
And here, the moment that reveals that Joyce and Walky (at least in this universe) are destined to be together. Because heavens know that in the penultimate panel they’re being propelled by the power of their combined flatulence.
Walkys totally cheering as he flies through the hallway
I want to be swept off my feet by a girl with a jetpack.
Damn Straight.
Must be fun balancing that jetpack flying alone, much less with all that weight on one arm.
That’s the reason Joyce is the only one who uses one. Her special abductee power is a physics engine in her head, specifically so she can operate the jetpack effectively, because HA couldn’t give her unassisted flight. S’why she’s so good at math.
ah furinari ruins everything
Wait, what?
These crafty smiles are starting to get to me. If only I was one of the people who used to read this comic.
Hey, I’m as lost as you are on this one — Alan had nothing to do with this sequence of events in the version I read.
