My burrito is folded at both ends!
on March 6, 2020 at 1:01 amOctober 21, 2006. That’s when this strip ran, and also apparently when TACO BELL STARTED FOLDING BOTH ENDS OF THEIR BURRITOS. They used to leave one end unfolded! So you’d know which end to put in your mouth! It was NICE. And then suddenly they started folding both ends, and everything went to Hell. I still, to this day, quietly examine my Taco Bell burritos to see which end is the least folded.
I’m not crazy.
A] Eat it in the middle, and be scorned
B] Eat any side anyway, and scorn original idea
C] Slice the burrito, and scorn Taco Bell
I don’t think I ever understood this, ’cause food is food
or, in the case of Taco Bell, it’s a doorstop as soon as he stops to think
Decisions, decisions, huh, Walky?
The
DogBurrito with Two Ends.Meanwhile, I was sitting here believing folding both ends of the burrito was standard practice. No wonder this strip never made sense to me in the original run.
Yeah – I’ve only seen burritos with both ends closed since the ones they served us in the school cafeteria as kids. Since then, it’s all I’ve personally seen.
Then again, I don’t think I ever had any of the Taco Bell burritos, either.
It is standard practice for real burritos. And frozen burritos. Why Taco Bell did it differently, I do not know.
Yes, if one end is open it stops being a burrito and becomes a wrap.
Huh. I wonder if it was the new popularity of wraps that caused Taco Bell to begin folding both ends in the first place?
So is Walky just Ethan, but with junk food?
The only logical answer is to start eating the middle, like it’s corn on the cob.
Just pick one end and start eating already.
First world problems.
First fold problems?
Don’t panic, Walky! Call Joyce, and she will carefully unfold the burrito and disassemble its components for you. Then you will just have to decide in which order to eat them.
Why on earth would you leave one end of a burrito unfolded
Midwesterners, I swear
You’re not crazy. I do it too, because I know if I pick the wrong end it will come unfolded and everything will fall out the end and I look like th eidiot customer that doesn’t know how to eat.
Just eat it all in one bite!
Personally I just grab it and eat it.
I think you’re the one that’s slightly less wrapped, Walky.
I don’t eat burritos, so what difference does it make which end you start with?
This is not a burrito; it’s Taco Bell.
So, it’s not food then.
If it’s the old Taco Bell style, if you start from the closed end, everything will fall out.
If it’s fully enclosed, it doesn’t matter, but Walky is Walky is Walky.
