Mediocre
on August 30, 2016 at 12:01 amChapter: Perverse Sexual Lust
Characters: Joe Rosenthal, Joyce Brown
Location: SEMME downtown housing building
And nonconsensual!
I mean, the mediocre part makes sense. I think this is Joyce’s first kiss (that she can remember, at least). She can’t be very good at it.
“tongue was suboptimal, 2 of 5 stars on yelp”
Yeah he’s got a lot of recent experience to compare it with.
And a lifetime experience.
Joyce: “WITNESS ME”
Immortan Joe: “MEDIOCRE”
***** Perfect comment. 5 stars, will read again.
I hope my claps follow you into Vallhala because this was glorious
Shiny and chrome.
Jen FTW.
wait wait I totes have Photoshop don’t I =D =D XD
This keeps getting better and better XD
That was more of a sparkler than fireworks.
And now it’s Joyce’s turn to be insulted (Walky’s turn was last week).
Wait. Did Joyce get a kiss she doesn’t remember? My trivia knowledge has failed me.
Off the top of my head, she’s kissed Danny at least a couple of times- the mistletoe one-panel, for instance.
Come to think of it, those were all non-consensual, too.
Joyce is just all about them non-consensual kisses I guess. Whatever floats her boat?
That was one of the more nerve wracking realizations of my early teens: that kissing required talent.
The surprise kiss is simultaneously so good a dramatic tool that it can’t possibly be removed, but at the same time, in most real world contexts, it’s hella creepy. Even in this scenario, with Joyce being this tiny rail thin waif pressing onto the most sex obsessed dude in the universe, there’s still that level of sketchiness involved.
It’s something I appreciate about DoA; it’s always used properly. Amazi-Girl kisses Danny and Dorothy kisses Walky after it’s clearly established that the recipient is interested and would like this to happen, but it explodes in Becky and Ruth’s faces because they’re just assuming it’s okay for them to do so.
