Well, it was the Sunday comic. At the time, Willis was emulating the newspaper model, as were many early webcomics like PvP and Userfriendly. Userfriendly’s in reruns now and PvP is five days a week color, like DoA was until a few months ago.
Extra-big, full color strips for Sunday, in the finest comic-strip tradition. Due to the vagaries of the re-post schedule, Sunday strips are currently showing up on Saturday.
Another one I don’t remember seeing. Oddly, I half-shipped these two in a series of Beast Machines parodies. “Half” because Rattrap wasn’t interested. To put it mildly. Possibly because of how extreme BA was in the story.

Sarah really looks good in that script. Joe is just weirder than usual.
Yeah, if Joe, his toys and the exclamation mark was phased out that would make a really good standalone panel pr poster.

It’s impossible to see someone with an exclamation point over their head like that and not here that Metal Gear Solid sound.

Oh I know. It’s just an odd change of pace that this was the colour strip when everything else was going on.

Beast Wars: The only transformers thing I’ve ever watched ever. So for once, one of these transformer thingies is actually of interest to me.
Also, the subject seems to be regressing into a Joyce-like state. Must examine further.
