Danny’s gotta lock that shit down before Billie discovers other people!
Joe is sometimes right about marriage. There are people that get more problems from it, like Al Bundy.
Al Bundy and Joe Rosenthal are my two main sources of wisdom.
Also, who would’ve guessed that swype would recognize ‘Rosenthal’?
Hmmm. This might help https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosenthal
There’s even a famous guy named Joe Rosenthal! He took the iconic photo “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima.”
Billie has already discovered many other people!
Hmm, I wonder if Trump exists in the Walkyverse, and still runs for president, but rather than base his platform on Mexican Immigrants (aliens) he bases his platform on actual aliens. He wants to build a giant dome around the earth.
and make the Sun pay for it?
LOL at “Mr. Pimp”
*Imagines Joe dressed as Don “Magic” Juan (Google it)*
i’m going to agree with joe.
In this instance, Joe has got the right advice I think.
Yeah, and I really don’t get Danny’s logic here. Regardless of marital status, will he still be going somewhere else as an intern? And if so is he just… basically saying… that they’d probably end up breaking up from that experience, but if they lock each other into a committment, they’ll have no choice but to stay together…?
I’ve witnessed three long-distance relationships. All of them collapsed. (I was part of one of them. That sucked. And I might’ve even gotten off easy compared to the others.)
Danny’s fear of the relationship turning long-distance seems pretty valid from where I’m sitting. That said, marriage here would only address a symptom (“Most long-distance relationships end in breakups! Let’s get married, to make it harder to break up!”) rather than addressing the actual obstacle (“Long-distance relationships make it far more difficult to share intimate moments with someone who’s a thousand miles away, and the shared narrative is weaker when you’re not in the same environment experiencing things together”).

I'm so excited for a webcomic that's not about being drunk and depressed!
