Look, a pretty tree!
on December 9, 2012 at 12:01 amOh hey, the publishing dates lined up again, I guess. This strip and the previous one were published on December 8 and 9, 1997. I guess we’ll probably keep this trend until Friday. Thanks go to the extra comic book stories for canceling out this website’s weekend updates, apparently.
I’m gonna be in Austin for Webcomic Rampage this weekend! Come see me!
For those who can’t, you can still sort of play along at home. From now until Sunday night, entering the code “WEBCOMICRAMPAGE” with any Dumbing of Age store order gets you 10% off! Think of it as a last-minute Christmas thing. (It is too late for most international orders to arrive by Christmas, but if you’re in the United States, you’re still golden.) I will, of course, tend to orders once I return from Austin.
There’s something different about the look of this strip I can’t quite place, it seems… inkier, like it was drawn with a different method from earlier ones.
It’s the tree, it’s a giant ink blot.
I knew it! Clever Rorschach Test, Willis.
So chipper. Makes me want to set her on fire.
That bear is having ‘Nam flashbacks
Goddamn it, Walter!
