on February 27, 2013 at 12:01 amCharacters: Joe Rosenthal, Joyce Brown
Location: Danny and Joe's dorm room
Batman’s all “screw you, Rebecca St. James, I’m taking your place on the wall because I’m relevant!”
Was this the first Batman drawing in your comics or was there one before it? (I do know this was drawn after Roomies! ended but I can’t remember him appearing in the initial run)
Press the “first” button. Batman’s been there since the very beginning.
(That one’s just a silhouette, though…)
Yeah, Batman and RSJ.
Joyce has never heard of cubism, futurism, pop art, op art, fauvism, photo-realism, dada, OH WAIT CARTOONING, WE’RE TALKING ABOUT CARTOONING HERE, SCREW ALL THAT MUSEUM CRAP, LOOK IT’S BATMAN
Dude it’s Joyce. Of course she hasn’t. The amazing part is that she didn’t come up with “Chintzy Paintings Of Buddy Jesus”.
SUBTLETY.
It’s cubism, right? With all the lines and squares in the last panel, I’m sure it’s cubism. Cubism, that must be it.
