Well, I hope you all enjoyed this full week of Sunday-strip-style nightmare fuel!
This is the point where I realized that this story about a goofball who fights aliens for the government might have more going for it than I originally thought. Sure I liked it before, but the story of someone who acts like a goof because he doesn’t want to deal with the issues in his life is so much more interesting then just a regular idiot hero.
I feel like HA has been winning by just seeing an opportunity to say “I win”
Good Lord. David Willis successfully predicted Charlie Sheen’s breakdown.
I think this was when Walky literally snapped
*Clap clap clap*…. you know I’ve always put Head Aliens role as a competent villain in the question, but then there are moments like these I always liked in a villain. Like how they go out of their way to have some sort of emotional or mental Edge over their adversary and once they found it they would use it to torture them even until their last breath.
You get some of the best villains from traits like that.
Why does he win? Why can’t they just grab him and beat the stuffing out of him like he deserves?
He wins because he can emotionally manipulate Walky just as easily as he can Sal. It was sort of a pyrrhic victory though, as we saw that the floor collapsed and some of the ceiling crushed him.
Even in death HA still won.
I love how earlier Sal was yelling at Dina to do stuff and not just stand there and now everyone has to carry her out because of her “angsty main character” status. 😛
