I think one of my favorite things in the entire Walkyverse is Joe being dragged off to SEMME and immediately picking up on Professor Doc clearly being Doc Brown from Back to the Future in a labcoat, everyone else completely unawares.
“YOU!…look an awful lot like Sal. It’s good to see you both at the same time, I’d been wondering if there was some sort of cross-gender Clark Kent thing going on.”
I keep expecting Willis to add some commentary about why he decided to add Joe to the It’s Walky! cast, and why he chose to delay it until this particular moment. Maybe a little later?
I know he’s said through stuff about Ultra-Car that Joe was always meant to invent Ultra-Car (and thus also always meant to be an inductee,) and always meant to get with Rachel I believe? So I’m still wondering why he chose to delay Rachel’s entry into the cast so long as he did if she existed back in the early days too.
I’ve never seen the movies, so I never made the connection, but I know what Doc Looks like, So now that it’s been pointed out I can see the resemblance.
In panel 3 we see that when Sal was addressing Doc she wasn’t looking at him. She was actually locking eyes with Dina. Are things awkward between them since Sal saved her? That’s a good subtle detail, almost too good, probably accidental.
I like to think this means that Joe is the only member of SEMME who has seen Back to the Future. Somehow.
Robin probably has. I think that might’ve been a plot to one of the porns but I’m not sure.
Robin AND Leslie have.
But that’s in Shortpacked!, not It’s Walky!, which is apparently the section of the Walkyverse that hasn’t seen Back to the Future (except Joe)
Well, you’re in for a pleasant surprise in 2-3 years.

Also, pretty sure that’s Alex in the background, but he’s not tagged.
He’s tagged as ” Dark Power 451″. Because simple names are boring.
Oh yea, oops. I forgot that was him.
Joe and Alex have not actually met.

“Inductee”?
Ultra-Car is an electro car?
Er. Abductee.
Sometimes my brain does. Things.

Wait really this how did I forget that’s doc brown. Now I need to reread the whole comic in the right voice.
I always kinda thought he looked like a benevolent Dr. Wily.
David Willis is still making a web comic?! Just looking back and getting nostalgic about the good old days of #k&p back on Dal.Net.
Good to see you’re still keeping it up after all these years! Just visited the old channel, and what was I supposed to expect? Of course it’s dead
Yes he still makes a webcomic.
I notive that there is no link to Dumbing of Age on this page, so i added one!
