I’m trying to decide whether this comic peaked halfway through panel 3, or in panel 1.
Comedically, panel 1. Dramatically, panel 3. Pragmatically, between panels 2 and 3. Contrapositively, panel 4. Stereotypically, panel 2. Hypothetically, panel 0. Complexly, panel 2+i. Ironically, panel 3 on the next comic.

Yeah, I am also trying to square that up with “Grandchildren! Now! (even though you two aren’t married…yet)”.
Maybe in the Dumbiverse it could have nearly happened? Just sorta spitballing with what we know about the characters, Specifically the addition of Chastity Churchmouse to Joyce’s upbringing.
Hmm… Follow up on my comment from yesterday: Great response, Walky! Joyce… Joyce, just no. It sounds a whole lot like she’s ready for sex but just wants to put the onus of deciding when to do the do on Walky. That way if it’s awful it isn’t her fault.
I’ll keep updating how I feel about these as this arc continues.
