EEEEEEEEEEEEEE
on December 28, 2017 at 12:01 amHuh, I’d forgotten that Agatha shows up ahead of the rest of her squad. Hell, I’d forgotten that she shows up this far ahead of Robin. I’d gotten it into my head that Agatha was a blonde Robin with shorter hair, but apparently it’s Robin who’s a longer, black-haired Agatha! My causality for them being McAwesome’s counterparts is completely backwards.
We don’t see Agatha in many belly shirts these days.

Dina’s practicing her villain pose in the last panel.
As villain poses go, I prefer Milking The Giant Cow. And, of course, Stroking The Cat is classic. But Finger Steeples really needs light-reflecting glasses to pull off.
Does that mean Robin is actually the one who belongs at McAwesome’s, and Agatha should have been at Shortpacked? Because that makes an odd sort of sense.
I’m pretty sure, especially after seeing the Dumbiverse versions, that Agatha’s the good twin, so, no.
i hear that really with the grinch’s smile and voice
You’re a desperate one, Ms. Dina…
I’m just going to assume you mean Boris Karloff Grinch, not the Carrey or Bendydick Cummerbund ones.
Assuming Agatha was as friendly and kind here as she is in the Dumbingverse, I’m psyched for what comes next.
Tone depth much Dina ?
I’m not sure if that’s the right reaction Dina but I do think that this encounter should help you put your own personal problems a little in perspective.

“We don’t see Agatha in many belly shirts these days.”
Well naturally, formal belly shirts are reserved for injury-mourning
The real lesson here: injured friends don’t count until they get better.
I think this and Drunk Mike are what completely sever the connection in my head between this Dina and DoA Dina. This is awful and selfish and I really hate Walkyverse Dina and always have. Meanwhile, DoA Dina needs all the hugs (from afar or otherwise, whichever she’s more comfortable with) and happiness she can get.
The way that I see it is that Walkyverse Dina is what happens when Dina is cut off from any support or understanding, and has her worst insecurities hammered home again and again until she’s caught in a mire of self-loathing. As a result, what’s normally just some misunderstandings of social mores and maybe slightly wonky ethics get twisted to the point of her losing track of her moral compass and doing awful things out of her desperation for some kind of affection.
(working for professor Doc for several years probably didn’t help either, dude makes Sal look like a goody-two-shoes.)
