Duck, Stuffy!
on March 16, 2019 at 12:01 amChapter: 'Cause When I'm Bad
Characters: Guns, Jason Chesterfield, Jennifer Billingsworth, Linda Walkerton, Professor Doc, Sal Walters, Steve Walkerton
Location: Professor Doc's lab, Transparent Steel Chamber
Probably should have given the first panel’s composition more room to show Professor Doc being thrown at them. It’s not very clear, as-is.
“Aim for my son’s limbs!” Linda Walkerton orders. I mean, it’s the smart thing to do, but
Aiming for the legs is generally one of the less lethal strategies you can employ…
It’s either that or put him in a chokehold, and the odds aren’t good for pulling that off.
for a top-heavy person it is actually a good move, it gets them off balance and makes it a lot easier to restrain…they don’t want to kill him, they just want to keep him from killing them!
…unless you’re using a machine gun, or a rocket launcher, or something else excessive, then aiming for the legs won’t help much.
And panel 4, where she just casually sals over Billie.
First panel seems pretty clear to me. Pretty sure Doc was the only person in SEMMF who regularly wore labcoats.
Wow, this feels like XCOM, the first ones it will auto-target are your brainwashed soldiers =p
He died as his assistants lived, thrown aside like the wrapper of a 79 cent burrito.
Oh, come on. Remember how deeply he grieved for Dina after she died to save him? Oh wait.
To be fair to him, we have no idea how he reacted to Dina dying since he was unconscious when it happened and we haven’t seen him since. He might have been deeply moved!
Probably not, but who knows.
Beef deserved way better. I hope his parents are nicer in the Dumbiverse.
