RUTH, KILL HIM NOW, SUCCEED WHERE JOE FAILED
Rolfmao.
How has someone not just straight up told Danny in this universe that he’s kind of a jerk?
Billie has. Danny just chooses not to believe her.
And then later on he decides to hate fuck her near Mount Rushmore.
And then she decided he wasn’t a jerk, for some reason.
And then they decide to put off having sex, because it’s Danny and Willis is the writer.
So wait…Ruth has Black overalls? That isn’t just a way of showing value in a black and white comic?
They are black like the gothic pits of her angsty soul.
She dyes them black, by the way. Because her soul is just that dark.
She dyes them black simply by putting them on.
Her presence turns everything black. Even shadows. Even light. It’s the source of that blackout comic a while ago. Her angst is all-consuming.
Ruth, it is your duty to kill Danny. It’s a mercy killing.
I want to believe Ruth is saying all of her lines super sarcastically.
My head canon of Roomies! is so much better than real Roomies!…
I find it hard read her last line as anything but sarcastic.
The author’s commentary for this strip may be my favorite of the bunch so far. Might be a knee-jerk reaction though.
So Danny was just winding Joe up about the shirt last strip?
It’s not too late Willis, you could retcon Danny dying RIGHT HERE!
Is the shirt clean, or does it just not show the dirt as much as his other shirts?
“Just a little depression” Ruth, employ just a little fatal force.
…does anyone else have difficulty not reading Ruth’s last line in the voice of the Funky Phantom, even?
Well NOW I am.
They both shop at the same Hot Topic mall store.
That can’t be true, there’s no enormous Mario Bros. reference slash spiky studs on them.
Put him down, Ruth! Put him down!

Will there be a newer poll than the Bart O'Ryan one?
