Sometimes in these old strips, back before I could fit in more dialogue because of my fancy handwriting font, it’s a fun game to sit back and wager whether characters could interrupt themselves before they could get interrupted by other characters.
So many unfinished sentences.
I think Oglihinn interrupting his own sentence is great. It gives off the feeling that he’s really distraught over the situation.
And Head Alien rudely interrupting is always welcome.
Is it weird that the Head Alien is consistently my favorite character?
Well, he’s kind of funny right from the start and everyone else… isn’t, so it’s not too surprising.
I’m confused. I thought that Linda freaked out seeing HA and cohorts but she saw a big ship. Now it’s just the small ones and why would they need them if the mother ship was so close to the ground before?
And where is she now?
Or, is the ship she saw, the one that it appears her husband is standing in? Is he stealing a ufo from the govt.?
Anthony’s dad stole the ship from the government, whom he works for. That’s the ship that Linda saw. When she saw the ship, she tookfoff running because aliens. It appears as though things have gotten real with the aliens, and Anthony’s dad stole the ship so that he could get his family out. The aliens grabbed their little single person ships to do whatever nefarious alien plot they have planned. I imagine this is because they couldn’t get the big ship (and let’s be honest, a big ship is not as impressive as a fleet of little ships, and the Head Alien loves to look fancy and impressive). There’s also no reason to believe that these are the only aliens to come to Earth. It’s entirely possible that the big ship belongs to a completely different race of aliens.
Thanks for the update. I was a bit fuzzy on this arc. It makes sense.

HEADCANON ACCEPTED
Fool!
See, if you’d gone to work at Area 19 instead like I’d told you to… I have no idea what the outcome would be, because nobody knows what’s there. But that high voltage power line has got to be powering something.
