Can’t tell ya
on February 11, 2013 at 12:01 amOf course Sal can’t tell you yet! We have to drag this shit out!
…whoa, hey. Sal is thumbing through what are probably Danny’s CDs, and there’s a friggin’ Titanic soundtrack in there. Even though Danny is shown returning that to Joe earlier. …Is… is my headcanon for my own story actually true? Was the CD Danny’s all along??? HOLY CRAP.
Well, it COULD be Joe’s CDs. They’re still ROOMIES! [aren’t they?]
This was what I was thinking. Maybe she didn’t know whose dresser was whose.
Your subconscious is a very good planner.
Celine Dion sang a song by Jim Steinman once. Therefore, she gets a pass for being in CD collections.
Haha, wow, I forgot about that.
Or he gave Joe his copy back because he had bought his own.
You know things are weird when the frikkin’ author has a headcanon that may or may not be the same as the actual canon.
It seems he just very desperately doesn’t want to outright retcon stuff.
I suspect deviant headcanons may be quite a common problem, it’s just most authors won’t admit to it or haven’t noticed yet!
Whenever I read this, I think of things yet to come, and always wonder if Willis had it all planned out from the beginning. For 16 years up til present day.
With any other author, this would be ludicrous, especially considering the change in quality. But with Willis…hm. I can’t help but feel there’s some time-travel involved in this.
I think Danny saw a rare opportunity to embarrass Joe in front of Joyce and went for it.
Oh wow, blast from the past. I remember when Mariah Carey was a thing. Damned if I remember what she sounded like, though. Or looked like. Although come to think of it, I don’t think I ever bothered to find out what she looked like.
