man folks really like coming after sal’s right forelimb with knives, huh
I think that last panel with Daisy needed some context within this strip that she is elsewhere, still firing at Beef, and not joining this sequence involving Jason, Sal, and Penny.
I think you got ’em Daisy
but make sure, yeah why not
Well, that first one didn’t pierce…
As anyone who’s played a video game with shooting can tell you… Unless you see the head or torso explode, keep shooting until you’re sure they’ve stopped moving.
Take off and nuke Beef from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
She’s checking for a pulse, Pacific Rim style
I’m trying to figure out if Daisy’s gun would have enough bullets, so far there have been 6-7 on screen shots, minus any that were fired before she picked up the gun in the first place.
But I may also be overthinking it a bit.
Semi-auto pistol magazines usually have a 15-18 round capacity, so she’s good for a bit at that rate.
Man, it’s a real shame that Daisy be wastin’ all those bullets on Beef, when there’s a perfectly good Penny standing right there, begging to be shot.
If I remember correctly Daisy picked that pistol from Guns (who got crushed by Beef). Guns had 2 pistols, but threw one away to use the dart gun with the antitode. So there’s still one pistol free for grabbing in that room.
So all this time, Jason was safe from the gun?
I mean, Penny would have probably stabbed him anyway, but eh.
If that gun was empty, the upper receiver should be locked open.
Unless it was never loaded in the first place or someone dropped the slide. Or it’s some weird SEMMF pistol that doesn’t lock open on an empty magazine.
