I can’t remember exactly when I decided Linda was gonna be the new Big Boss. I mean, yeah, at some point I decided Anthony McHenry had to die to cause Sal angst in some reverse fridging maneuver, so SOMEBODY had to be the new Big Boss. Actually, the more I think about it, I think I okayed the idea of bumping off Anthony because Linda Walkerton was around as an obvious ready-to-go replacement. Plus, hey, additional Sal angst.
…Not that additional Sal angst is hard to conjure up. It’s like finding lost change under the couch cushions.
What a surprise. 😛
A terrible surprise for Sal.
WELCOME TO SUFFERING TIME, POPULATION WALKERTONS.
Hey look, Linda’s already got the Gendo pose down pat.
So which Walkerton child is Shinji, and which is Rei?
I love the way she’s towing Joe along behind her, and he’s just going with the flow.
(Probably because he knows she can just sling him over her shoulder if he doesn’t).
Okay, so I’m new here. I’ve been reading DoA for over a year now, but just got into Walky. Can someone help me understand the universes? DoA is one universe, and then Roomies, Walky and Shortpacked are all in the same universe, correct? DoA is “our” universe and Walky has aliens. And then Roomies and Walky take place at more or less the same time, with Roomies starting, and then It’s Walky continuing on after. Then Shortpacked is after IW, right? Where does “Joyce and Walky” fit in? Am I understanding all of this correctly?
Joyce and Walky happens more-or-less concurrently with the first half of Shortpacked.
Also, Walky is a chronological sequel to Roomies, though there’s some Walky-related stuff in Roomies itself. This universe tended to go in real-time.
You can’t tell me what to do! You’re not my real mom!!
“I am”
You’re not the boss of me!!!
“I literally am”
“tell my boss that I’ve been fired”
Your comment is hilarious, but you should have saved it for the next strip!
Apparently!
Every day is a bad day for Sal
Some days more so than others, though.
