half of mine are literally just the alarm going off and I can’t ACTUALLY wake up to turn it off so it’s just my head vibrating for five minutes
(I have a “silent” alarm that isn’t actually silent)
My alarm intruding into my dreams happens more often than I like to think about. Finally waking up after spending what felt like hours in a dream crying because the GODDAMN BEEPING NOISE JUST WILL NOT STOP does not make for a very good morning…
… I mean I’m not SURPRISED they have boatloads of trauma, but still. You’d think that’d come up a bit more often than this one punchline.
… I fought of a Martian invasion, and all I got were these lousy night terrors.
I mean, I figured she was using the term colloquially rather than clinically.
I’d be pretty freaked out if I woke up and saw eyes like that too.
I am almost positive this was a garfield joke.
I thought she bought fake glow-in-the-dark eyes to do a cartoon eyes in darkness bit.
