Lookit me, somehow pawning off all the crowd scenes on poor Steve.
You and Evil-Steve* were in cahoots!
*(Stevie?)
I HAVE RISEN!
Warmongers Vs Hippies. I would watch a movie titled like this.
I’m so sad that the alien is using imperial units to measure hull damage.
Actually, they do and they don’t. They use the terms “foot and inches,” but they mean entire different things. The Melotian “foot” is ten inches long. That’s why they constantly refer to Sammy as a “five-foot hamster,” but he’s actually closer to 4′ 2″.
No matter the fuss made, I doubt Imperial units will ever be replaced…we’ve been trying for 40 years and still here.
You haven’t been trying. India tried. Canada tried. The UK tried. All had varying degrees of success. You kept at it about as long as most folks keep at their New Years Resolution, shrugged, mumbled something about the Constitution and then gave up.
I can’t seem to remember, did Anti-HA ever get to do something?
SPOILERS
He got turned into a puppet for Head Alien to use as his “real body” once he ascended to Cheesehood.
Ooooh, yeah, I totally forgot about that. Thanks man.
Sal, seriously, don’t try to figure out the ‘why’. You’ll just give yourself a headache. I recommend that you just call and SEMME clean-up squad… Oh, and start thinking up plausible lies to put in your report because there’s no way Big Boss will ever believe this one.
This is also the first strip where I realized that the It’s Walky characters had five fingers Up until this strip, I always drew them with four.
I really do love Steve’s art, but I’m now slightly distracted by realising that he’s giving the It’s Walky! characters the Dagwood-stoop. It’s fine on his own characters, but seeing Sal stand there like she’s just got off a horse is a bit weird.
Haha! I have no recollection of why I drew her that way — but actually, in all the years I’ve been drawing, you;re the first person who mentioned the “Dagwood stoop.” I always think of that whenever I draw human, actually!
