Some posthumous vindication for Dina here. When she detected the traces of an anomaly in Belgium, everyone dismissed her because Joe found one in England. Well, nuts to you, SEMME! It was a legitimate anomaly!
Also… a series wrap for Dargon, I think? BYE DARGON
Dina has her revenge in the end!
(sorta)
[not really revenge]
DarGONE.
Wait, that’s it for Dargon? Huh. I don’t remember what happened to him (other than being replaced on the front lines).
Penny shot him and usurped his place as leader in his last non-flashback appearance.
I forgot he had so few appearances honestly. This flashback sequence really left an impact on me during the binge, I guess.
Likewise.
Um, thanks, but I thought the chat was supposed to stay spoiler free. Hence why I did not mention the person you just mentioned.
I had forgotten the other thing you mentioned.
And yes, I am remaining vague in case… honestly, I have no idea. Does Willis have admin powers that let him add spoiler tags to posts and stuff? I know he can delete stuff.
Is it really a spoiler if it’s something that had happened almost six months ago? Otherwise, any discussion of plotlines past is a spoiler.
Not a spoiler, it already happened. This is a flashback.
Yeah, what the others said. Penny killed Dargon right after the failed raid that wound up killing Dina. Willis even made a pun of it: “It looks like Dargon is…dar-gone.”
Also his second non-flashback appearance.

By his tag, he’s got a total of 10…so unless Willis had another flashback he forgot about before the end of the series, he went out on a nice round number, anyway.
Sorry to be the git who can’t remember anything as usual, but could someone post a link to the comic with Dina and the anomaly in Belgium? Thanks!

Thanks!
This is some really good scanning.
Wait. How could Dina detect the Belgium portal, when we’re talking about events from 2 decades ago?
Maybe opening the portals left some kind of long term space-time distortion? That’s my best guess.
Yeah, I think that’s right. I notice now that Willis’ comment above says “traces” of an anomaly, so I guess it left a long-term remnant of its existence.
The event they were tracking was decades ago
I’d say the font of wrath is Impact.
The font of *my* wrath is Comic Sans. or maybe Papyrus.
I was kinda wondering why Dragon could hold the Power Booster Rod without it doing anything. I definitely forgot about this part of this story arc, though I know I’ve read it before.
So far the only people that used the rod were Sal and Joyce. Maybe it has to do with the fact that they have martian DNA?
I honestly have/had no idea what was going on with this entire deal.
