I wish phones still had physical buttons. Virtual keyboards SUCK. I could type super fast with just a thumb on my Motorola RAZR; now I have to carefully and precisely touch each letter, and still get the wrong one to appear on screen. :/
Full QWERTY BlackBerry keyboards were a luxury compared to typing everything on a flip phone’s dial pad! Sure the keys were each the size of a pin head, but we didn’t care. Compared to my modern smartphone, where I accidentally press B or V instead of Space likebthis, or my tablet that randomly ignres some lettrs, the tactile feedback of a physical keyboard is nice.
The tiny trackball instead of a touchscreen just seems counterintuitive now though, I’ll give you that.
I got soooo much love when I sent this to a young married couple (very good friends of our family) who basically posted this picture on New Years Eve three years ago.
I feel like that should have a lot more pixels visible

And that’s BEFORE the phone’s auto-correct gets to it.
I really wish the Android Blackberry phones did better. However I wasn’t willing to pay a US$300 premium for a keyboard.
I actually kinda like the older-style flip-phones with real buttons better.
You know, you could try TALKING on a phone instead of using it like a telegraph, sending messages one letter at a time.
