I mean, how else do you get apprentices? Lure their friends into a trap and threaten their lives? Pick up a stray while you murder their parents in front of them? Find someone in a unhealthy fire, fix ’em up and then attach kill devices to their armor?
Where’s Mr Shadow Guy with his gun, when he’s ACTUALLY needed?! Way to fall asleep on the job, ya bum!

Its strips like this that remind me why I love the head Alien.
I absolutely love how this is the Head Alien’s first attempt to recruit Sal

Well, Head Alien is uniformly a piece of shit. A lovably insane and dramatic piece of shit, but a piece of shit nonetheless. This makes absolutely perfect sense.
Man, Sal is amazingly uninjured after being ejected from the open bed of a pickup at high speed.
Man, I could have sworn that this storyline was much earlier, like even Roomies-era strips. I’ve completely lost track of what the audience is supposed to know or not by this point. So which parts were already known, and which are the big reveals? Did we already know that Sal’s step-parents were dead? That HA killed them? That they were being manipulated by SEMME? That this is the reason she was so squirrelly around Danny?
We knew HA killed them, and she acted weird to get attention as a result of moving a lot. The Semme involvement is new.
Oh, God, I’m remembering how much I hated the Head Alien…
I mean, not even in a ‘I love how much I hate him’ sort of way. I just get filled with so much hate for that adorable little guy!
Every time he survives getting killed made me so made, I swear it took a year off my life expectancy.
