I agree with Walky, what Dina’s doing is wrong even if it’s Mike.
Indeed but the others probably don’t mind it because Mike acts nice now and they want him to stay like that.Tony even proposed a couple of strips back to keep Mike drunk.
Then I don’t think you actually agree with Walky, who thinks this is wrong only because Mike’s no good for her. He doesn’t actually mind Dina being a rapist, apparently.
She doesn’t peform or compel him to perform sexual acts while in this state, so… not a rapist.
Still messed up, but not rape.
I guess some standards are better than none. That being said, this is still awful and needs to stop.

…Is Walky saying that the wrong part is that Dina is with Mike? As opposed to her keeping him perpetually drunk in order to make him into her idea of the perfect boyfriend? Would the latter part be acceptable if it were with a nicer guy?
Yikes.
I think if Mike were a nicer guy, Dina wouldn’t think it was necessary to keep him perpetually drunk.
But this is just a metaphor (even if Willis didn’t realize it at the time) for attempting to remake a significant other from what they are into something they’re not. It’s wrong, regardless of who the person being remade is.

I like the expressions here on every panel, which convey all the swings (and there’s a lot of them) going on in this strip.
This might be legitimately one of the worst moments for… pretty much all of Squad 128. Like, yikes.
I’m a first time reader, but I’m having a hard time imagining anything topping this arc in that regard.
