I think it kind of fits with SEMME to forget to take her with them. I mean outside combat they kind of always seemed like complete fuck ups.

He doesn’t seem to like Roomies or It’s Walky much. Though, to be fair, he’s pretty much right about SEMME, and there’s even spoilery reasons for that to be the case. But, yeah, things go wrong for them due to poor planning, unresolved personal issues, and more a lot in the coming comic.
Yeah, sorry, Sal, I think that’s only remotely plausible because that stuff is so badly drawn. Someone gets close enough that your artist has to draw in some details, I’m pretty sure your cover-up falls apart – much more likely than that people will believe the allegations of a girl who was pretty clearly totally batshit even before this (even assuming she wakes up). And I don’t think even Jason is a big enough asshole to abandon the comatose girl if he had no expectation that she’d get medical attention.
So I’m going to have to assume that you’re lying through your teeth because you’ve got motives of your own. I’m guessing you want to let Joe have a normal life, but are trying to get Joyce away from Danny because you’re, for whatever godforsaken reason, jealous.
And the leaving hard physical evidence of the Aliens you’re supposed to be covering up, including actual corpses, lying around in public places is just basic SEMME-competence.

As near as I’ve been able to determine, Sal’s attachment to Danny is based largely on the fact that Danny is the only person in the setting too stupid to figure out that Sal is dangerously friggin’ nutballs.
Once again, I like Sal, but that seems like a totally fair assessment.
